Binaural beats music is widely used worldwide as a form of brainwave entrainment, which is a process that helps align the brain with different states that contribute positively to well-being and personal development.
What many are unaware of is that the use of this natural science dates back thousands of years, although the creation of binaural beats music has only become possible in the past century or so due to technological advancements. Ancient cultures were aware of how the brain could be entrained through sound repetition long before modern science was able to prove this process. These societies may not have referred to it as binaural beats, but they understood that consistent, rhythmic sound had powerful healing and spiritual benefits.
In 2010, we developed the Binaural Beats app after experiencing the benefits of binaural beats ourselves while trying to combat the sleeping issues caused by the stresses of modern life. Over the years, we have received incredible feedback from our users, which has motivated us to continue improving the app. Take a look at all our reviews!
We have created various presets for different purposes such as sleep, meditation, focus and attention, faster learning, pain reduction, creativity, and anxiety reduction. It may take some time to feel the effects of binaural beats, so don't give up after your first try.
For first-time users, we highly recommend joining our Facebook and Google+ communities. In these communities, you can find a manual that explains how to use the app effectively (including volume control and headphones usage) and provides information about the different binaural beat presets. You can also explore user feedback and ask questions.
The Binaural Beats app is completely free with no ads and is an open-source project. We greatly appreciate any support you can provide, whether it's assisting with development, design, translation, or donating through the app.

* A LITTLE MORE ABOUT BINAURAL BEATS *
Binaural Beats were discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove and gained wider public awareness in the late 20th century due to claims that they help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity, and other desirable mental states. The effect on brainwaves depends on the difference in frequencies between tones. For example, if one ear hears a tone at 300 Hz while the other ear hears a tone at 310 Hz, the resulting binaural beat would have a frequency of 10 Hz.

The app now automatically pauses and resumes if a phone call arrives. This is why PHONE_STATE permissions are required. The app does not have internet access, so there is no chance of unauthorized capture of phone numbers.
